Program Notes

Changes/Transitions was written in the summer of 2020 during a time of unrest of struggle for an entire nation, whether due to the political unrest or the still unpredictable pandemic which was in its early stages. Through all of this, one thing was certain; we were watching history in the making and the world changing in real time. The question remained, especially with the political riots: what do we have to do to get to where we want to be? That is the question this piece seeks to answer.
