Program Notes

The New Era Bagatelles were written for the purpose of exploring the lyrical and technical aspects of the piano, kind of like etudes but more compact. I came up with the title for the pieces because I wanted to write bagatelles that utilized a contemporary style while still being accessible for the listener and performer.
